I managed to get permission to photograph inside the Osney Mill Marina. I gravitate towards water as it usually weathers my subjects. This provides me with layers of erosion and weathering on my subject adding to the complexity of the image. The many moored up canal boats provided me with opportunities to photograph their hulls before being re-painted to return back into the Oxford Canal.
